Alex Kay
President & COO, Word World
Alex Kay joined Word World in 2004. Prior to joining Word World, Alex spent over 12 years as an investment banker specializing in advising small to mid cap companies ranging in size from as little as ten million in sales to over $1 billion. Most recently, Alex was a founding Partner at Daroth Capital Advisors, a boutique investment bank where he advised a variety of smaller, public and private entrepreneurial companies. Prior to joining Daroth, Alex was a Director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he advised small to middle market companies with regard to acquisitions, divestitures and capital raising transactions. Alex began his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1987. Alex has an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and an Undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado.
